About Lucy Chow
Lucy invests early, which means she spends most of her time judging things before they are obvious. Over a decade of backing impact-driven companies out of Dubai she has developed the specific instinct founders most want borrowed, the ability to look at a young company and see what an investment committee will see. She chairs the investment committee of the WBAF Angel Investment Fund, serves as a senior senator in its UAE chapter, and has built much of her work around getting more women writing cheques rather than only receiving them. Her sector obsession is gaming and interactive technology, not as entertainment but as the place where education, work and community are quietly being rebuilt. She has written two books, sits on boards, and speaks at Davos and LEAP. Founders come to her early because she tells them what is wrong while there is still time to fix it.
