Andy noticed something on the road as a young sales rep. He was visiting clinics across the UK and then some of the best rehabilitation facilities elsewhere in the world, and the gap was obvious. Britain was behind on the technology. So he built the company that closed it. Fourteen years later Physiquipe puts diagnostic ultrasound, shockwave and rehab technology into physiotherapy, sports medicine and elite performance settings across the UK, and Andy has spent that time in a rare position, sitting between the manufacturers who make this equipment and the clinicians who have to justify buying it. He knows what a piece of kit costs, what it actually returns, and how often the answer is that you didn't need it. He also built an audience while he was at it, interviewing clinicians and running education programmes, which is how a nine-person company ends up known across an entire profession.
