About Kawthar Bin Sulayem
Kawthar advises the people who cannot afford to be misread. Her agency works with government entities, Fortune 500 companies and international luxury brands out of Abu Dhabi, largely on reputation, positioning and the situations where communication stops being marketing and becomes consequence. Nearly two decades of that across government, private sector and media. She has since built outward from it: a podcast network that has become a serious platform for regional voices, and District1795, a bilingual learning platform for the arts and creative economy, built on the argument that cultural knowledge in the region has been fragmented and locked inside institutions. She invests in SMEs, collects and patronises art, and sits on the board of a sustainability initiative founded by a member of the Abu Dhabi royal family. Her working thesis is that the next era of influence belongs to people who can connect disciplines rather than master one.

For international brands and organisations entering the UAE and wider Gulf. What lands here and what quietly offends, how institutional relationships work, and why communications built elsewhere so often misfire. Bilingual, Emirati, and advising at that level for nearly twenty years.

When the Story Gets Away From You
60 min
Reputation under pressure. A story breaking, a stakeholder losing confidence, a public misstep. Kawthar has handled this for governments and global brands, and this session covers what to say, what not to, in what order, and to whom. The highest-stakes hour on your platform and the one where a wrong move costs most.
